This public informational meeting will discuss Border-to-Border Trail (B2B) projects. The meeting will begin with a presentation followed by a question and answer format where individuals can ask questions regarding the projects with staff.
This trail segment begins at Wylie Road and Dexter-Chelsea Road and ends at the intersection of Parker Road and Dexter-Chelsea Road, (0.9 miles). The trail is on the north side of Dexter-Chelsea Road and heads east through existing Road rights of way to the east end of the Miller Smith Preserve (see attachment). The projects vegetation removals are partially complete and the actual trail construction will occur in two phases, the first in the summer/fall of 2022 and the second in the summer of 2023. The work includes grading, paving of concrete trail, restoration, tree planting, and other related improvements. Construction of phase one is expected to be completed in the fall of 2022 and phase 2 is expected to be complete in 2023.
