    Explore the changing season on this short and gentle hike. We will make a “magic” spring wand with colorful ribbons and then wander the woodland trails to look for signs of spring waking up.   2. Spring Egg Hunt

    April 17, 2021, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Independence Lake County Park

    Eggs, eggs all kinds of eggs: robins eggs, goose eggs, bluebird eggs, and more! Bird eggs come in so many beautiful sizes and colors. How many can you identify? Join naturalist Elle Bogle for a spring egg hunt to learn about the birds native to our area, how to identify their eggs, then search for hidden replicas of these eggs throughout the park. Each child will be given a basket for egg collection and an ID card. How many can you find?*eggs will be returned after the hunt and exchanged for candy* Program fee is $5.00 per family/household, up to 4 members per family/household.     The Home Toxics Center provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic, and corrosive materials such as paint, pesticides, cleaners, and more.
