    PRESERVE CHALLENGE Saturday, September 12th - Sunday, October 11 Various Parks and Preserves The Preserve Challenge is a four week virtual challenge encouraging people to get outside and explore. Join a staff-led event or explore on your own time. Participate by taking a photo or short video of your experience and posting it to social media with #ExploreWashtenaw. If you have a private social media account, email your photo to [email protected]. By sharing your experience, you will be entered to win a prize for each week you participate.

  2. River Mindfulness Hike

    Burns-Stokes Preserve

    Immerse yourself in the lullaby of the Huron River and the late summer beauty of the woods that border it. We will enjoy a guided meditation along with the hike. Co-led by parks naturalist Elle Bogle and Julie Woodward of Mindful City Ann Arbor. Please bring a water bottle, bug spray, and a mask. This hike is limited to 10 people and pre-registration is required. Email [email protected] to register for this program.
