  1. Junior Naturalist: Tree Stories

    August 29, 2020, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM @ County Farm Park

    *** Meet at Medford Pavilion *** For Kids 7-11 years old. Not your typical tree ID program! We will learn all about identifying trees through hands on exploration and artistic expression of leaves- the shape, the placement, and the structure. Each participant will create a board that tells the forest’s tree story through leaves. Led by Elle Bogle. Materials will be provided. Please bring a water bottle, bug spray, and a mask. Pre-registration is required - 5 children per section, accompanied by one adult. No unregistered siblings, please! Each hike is limited to 10 total people.   1. CLOSED - No Home Toxics Saturday Collection Event

    The Saturday Home Toxics Collection Event is CLOSED. Weekday Drop-Offs are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 734-222-3950 or visit washtenaw.org/hometoxics to schedule an appointment. Appointments are not necessary, but help us best assist you and ensure we have staff available to take your materials. Saturday Collection Events are held April through November on the first three Saturdays of the month, 9 a.m. to noon, except for holiday weekends. The Home Toxics Center provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic and corrosive materials. Visit washtenaw.org/hometoxics for more information.
