    *** CANCELLED *** Spring is almost here, and it’s time to start looking for plants and animals who are waking up from their winter slumber. We’ll discover the early signs of spring and leave a special treat for the creatures who call the park home. Led by Kelsey Dehring. For kids 5 – 6 years old.     *** CANCELLED *** Join us the second Saturday of every month to help the environment and explore natural spaces. Help prepare this landscape for spring by removing invasive shrubs in the grasslands and woodland edges. Please dress for the weather and be prepared for hiking and working off-trail. Led by Katie Carlisle.

  1. CLOSED - No Home Toxics Saturday Collection Event

    The SATURDAY Home Toxics Collection Events are CLOSED for the season. Weekday Drop-Offs are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 734-222-3950 to schedule an appointment. Appointments are not necessary, but help us best assist you and ensure we have staff available to take your materials. The Home Toxics Center provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic and corrosive materials. Regular collection events will resume in April and are held April through November on the first three Saturdays of the month, 9 a.m. to noon, except for holiday weekends.
