    November 7, 2020, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Burns-Stokes Preserve

    Are any birds still traveling? Which ones will plan to stay? We’ll keep our eyes and ears open as we search for birds in the woods and pocket prairies along the Huron River. This hike is open to birders of all levels. Please bring your own binoculars, and a field guide if you have one. Space is limited to 10 hikers.     *** Meet at Park Lyndon North *** As winter’s chill begins to deepen, we will bundle up and hike the hills of Park Lyndon North, imagining what life was like in Michigan as the continental glacier retreated and left megafauna and boreal forest in its wake. Program led by Shawn Severance. Program is limited to 10 people total. Pre-registration is required for everyone attending over the age of 2. Register online at parksonline.ewashtenaw.org.     The Home Toxics Center provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic and corrosive materials.
