  1. Junior Naturalist: Michigan's Feathered Travelers

    October 24, 2020, 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM @ Independence Lake County Park

Colder weather will soon be upon us and some of our feathered friends will be flying south for winter. We’ll discover which birds travel long distances to escape the cold, and which will hang around for the holidays. Independence Lake offers amazing birding opportunities to view waterfowl and other birds who prefer the cover of trees. Binoculars will be provided but feel free to bring your own. A bird field guide is suggested. Program led by Kelsey Dehring. For ages 7 - 11. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited – max 5 kids per section. Register online at parksonline.ewashtenaw.org (Registration #811004 B & C)
