  1. Changing Seasons Mindfulness Hike

    October 17, 2020, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Scio Woods Preserve

    Enjoy the fall colors and absorb the peacefulness of the trees as they prepare for the long season of rest. This hike will be at a slow to moderate pace through the woods. During the hike, we will stop periodically for quiet reflection and to connect with our senses. Co- led by Parks Naturalist Elle Bogle and Julie Woodward of Mindful City Ann Arbor. Please bring a water bottle and a mask. This hike is limited to 10 people and pre-registration is required. Email [email protected] to register for this program.

  2. Family Nature Adventures - Geology Rocks

    October 17, 2020, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM @ Fox Science Preserve

    Explore an old gravel quarry turned nature preserve! We will learn about Michigan’s glacial history, do experiments to identify common rock types, and maybe even find a few fossils! This program will offer information and experiences for children and adults alike! Program led by Shawn Severance. Program is limited to 10 people total.     The Home Toxics Center provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic and corrosive materials.
