  1. Household Hazardous Waste Collection

    September 14, 2019, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    The Home Toxics Reduction Program provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic and corrosive materials. Regular collection events are held the first three Saturdays of the month, April through November 9 a.m. to noon, except for holiday weekends. No appointment needed on Saturdays! If you can't make it to a Saturday collection, please call 734-222-3950 to schedule a weekday drop-off appointment. Please allow at least 48 business hours advance notice to schedule an appointment.

  2. Washtenaw County Clean Up Day: Saline

    September 14, 2019, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Thomson Reuters Office Complex

    Household junk lying around your residence? Old TVs, furniture, paint, oils or garden chemicals? Bring it to the waste specialists at the County for responsible and safe disposal! Out of respect for Thomson Reuters employees, there will be no admittance before 9:45AM. Please do not plan to arrive earlier than the starting time of 10AM. Gates will close at 2:00 sharp! Long wait times are expected. Please ensure the items you bring are accepted by checking the "Saline" flyer at washtenaw.org/cleanup. These events are for Washtenaw County residents. Sorry, but we can’t accept materials from businesses or out-of-county residents.

    New Music Detroit brings their 12th annual marathon music festival to Trinosophes, the DIA and The Cube!   1. Stewardship Saturday & Preserve Challenge Hike

    September 14, 2019, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Draper-Houston Meadows Preserve

    Join us to hike a couple miles through Draper-Houston Preserve while also helping the environment. This is the kick-off for our Preserve Challenge – a virtual challenge to encourage getting outside and enjoying natural areas. No registration or previous experience is necessary. Please dress for the weather and be prepared for working off-trail. Led by Katie Carlisle.
