***MEET IN THE NORTHWEST PARKING LOT*** Many people know how to identify trees by their leaves, but what about when those leaves have fallen? On this winter walk, we will learn how to recognize trees in winter. We’ll look at characters for recognizing at least a dozen common Michigan species by twigs, bark, and habitat. Splash into the holidays at the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center. Enjoy a fun pool party followed by cookie decorating with Santa’s friends, Anna and Elsa from Frozen! You also have the opportunity to drop off your letters to Santa in his mailbox in the lobby of the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center and if you’re lucky enough, you might receive a response from the North Pole!
