The Washtenaw County Plan Implementation Advisory Committee meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 9:00 a.m., in Conference Room 2010 of the Washtenaw County Western Service Center, 705 N. Zeeb Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103, unless otherwise noted. Meetings are conducted in accordance with the Open Meetings Act (Act 267 of 1976, as amended). The County of Washtenaw will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 7 days’ notice to the County of Washtenaw. This committee is comprised of representatives from each agency within Washtenaw County that is a primary answering point for E-9-1-1 calls. This group has also joined forces, combining with the 800MHz Working Subcommittee. The joint committee does most of the technical problem solving, with technical and administrative support from the Enhanced 9-1-1 Coordinator (Emergency Services Director) and staff (Metro Dispatch Operations Manager).

05/25/19 - The Household Hazardous Waste Collecition Center is closed. The next Saturday collection is scheduled for June 1, 2019.
The Home Toxics Reduction Program provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic and corrosive materials.
Regular collection events are held the first three Saturdays of the month, April through November 9 a.m. to noon, except for holiday weekends. No appointment needed on Saturdays!
If you can't make it to a Saturday collection, please call 734-222-3810 to schedule a weekday drop-off appointment. Please allow at least 48 business hours advance notice to schedule an appointment.

Join naturalist Faye Stoner for this hike to look for birds and to learn about some of the plants in this wooded preserve. We will head south to where a small stream moves through the woods then work our way back north and visit the edge of a buttonbush swamp.
