  1. Preserve Challenge: Sunset Stroll Neithammer River Preserve

    September 26, 2018, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Leslee Neithammer Saline River Preserve 9000 S Maple Rd, Saline, MI 48176

    Join Washtenaw County Parks and Friends of the Saline River on the Preserve Challenge's final Sunset Stroll at the Leslee Niethammer Saline River Preserve. This short hike will lead us along the banks of the Saline River and its tributary, Spring Brook. Parking is available on S. Maple Road near Saline-Milan Road. Throughout September's Preserve Challenge, we will lead public hikes and post daily suggested trails and adventures to Facebook and Instagram (@washtenawcountyparks). You will be entered in prize drawings for hiking at least once a week and sharing your experience using #ExploreWashtenaw. Get more involved by joining the Facebook Event Page. All are welcome to join and no registration is necessary.

  1. Rain Garden Nature Walk

    September 26, 2018, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Meet at 2000 Champagne Drive, Ann Arbor

    Meet at 2000 Champagne Drive, Ann Arbor. We will tour the rain gardens between the sidewalk and the street. We will also highlight rain gardens in a nearby public park. Come learn how these rain gardens work, what plants you can find inside them and more! We will mostly stay on the sidewalk so dress comfortably and bring water. The walk will be led rain or shine by staff from the Water Resources Commissioner's Office.
