  1. Woodland Restoration in Britton Woods

    October 27, 2018, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ County Farm Park

As the name suggests, most of County Farm Park was once agricultural land. The area that was not farmed is Britton Woods – 18 acres of lovely upland and floodplain forest. Help us improve the woodland by removing invasive shrubs such as buckthorn and honeysuckle. Please be prepared for working off-trail. This hike meets at the Medford Pavilion. This workday led by Stewardship Coordinator, Katie Carlisle. Snacks, gloves and water provided.

  1. Drug Take Back Day

    October 27, 2018, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Too often, unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That's dangerous and often tragic. That's why it was great to see thousands of folks from across the country clean out their medicine cabinets and turn in - safely and anonymously - a record amount of prescription drugs. Dispose of your unwanted, excess medications at the national Drug Take Back Day hosted by DEA. Find participating locations by checking the website DEAtakeback.com For year-round drug disposal options for Washtenaw County residents -- check out dontflushdrugs.com
