  8. Heckuva Hike

    From north to south up hills we bound! We’ll travel across eskers in Lyndon North and climb up mighty hills in Lydon South as we use nature as our gym. This wellness and fitness hike will be roughly 3 miles, and with varied terrain it will get the heart pumping and the sweat flowing. We will make periodic stops to take in some of the lovely views (and catch our breath). Please be sure to bring a mask, sunscreen, bug spray, and water. Hike led by Kelsey Dehring. The mill was originally constructed in the mid-1850s. It was then purchased and nearly rebuilt by Henry Ford in the 1930s for use as a small factory. Sharon Mills is listed as a State of Michigan Historic Site.

    Take a stroll through a picture book at Independence Lake!
