  2. Growing Microgreens

    April 25, 2019, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Staebler Farm County Park

    Microgreens are tiny but packed with flavor, color, and nutrition. Learn how to grow, care for, and harvest microgreens indoors all year long with the Michigan Folk School. You will also receive a brief introduction to using them, growing equipment, seeds, soil medium and a variety of handouts. This class is offered free of charge, but space is limited.   3. Garlic Mustard Pull/ "Wildflowers and More" Hike

    April 27, 2019, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ Baker Woods Preserve

    Join naturalist Faye Stoner for part or all of this event; we will start our morning with an hour of stewardship work pulling garlic mustard, then spend the remainder of the time on a hike learning about many of the wildflowers, ferns and sedges found in this rich woods. Long pants and long sleeves recommended.
