  2. Santa & Friends Series - Pancakes with Santa

    Families are encouraged to come enjoy a delightful pancake breakfast (fresh off the griddle), including a delicious pancake bar—filled with blueberries, chocolate syrup and so much more! Top it all off with some yummy hot chocolate! After bellies are full, children can attend a meet and greet with Santa! Make sure you bring your camera to capture the moment with a picture. All children attending this event will walk away with a goody bag and a take-home craft!

    *** MEET AT THE MEDFORD PAVILION*** Join us the second Saturday of every month to help the environment, meet like-minded people, be active, and explore. Volunteers have been improving the oak hickory woodland of Britton Woods for several years and we will be continuing their efforts at this workday.     Splash into the holidays at the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center. Enjoy a fun pool party followed by cookie decorating with Santa’s friends, Anna and Elsa from Frozen! You also have the opportunity to drop off your letters to Santa in his mailbox in the lobby of the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center and if you’re lucky enough, you might receive a response from the North Pole!

  8. Night Hike Winter Series

    Come enjoy the park after the sun goes down. All hikes begin at the Beach Center Meeting Room and finish near a bonfire with hot cocoa. Various actives included, based on monthly theme.   9. Junior Naturalist: Winter Solstice Celebration

    You’ve spent the year exploring and learning with us, and now we want to say thank you. Spend some quality family time, go on a nature hike with Park Naturalists Kelsey and Shawn, light a solstice bonfire, and share stories and photos of some of our favorite moments.
