    The Christmas Bird Count is an annual census created by the National Audubon society that has been running for over 100 years. Join naturalist Kelsey Dehring as we help collect bird data in the varying habitats of DeVine Preserve. Birders of all skill level are welcome. Please bring binoculars and bird guide if you have one.

  2. Junior Naturalist: Winter Solstice Celebration

    December 16, 2018, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Independence Lake County Park

    You’ve spent the year exploring and learning with us, and now we want to say thank you. Spend some quality family time, go on a nature hike with Park Naturalists Kelsey and Shawn, light a solstice bonfire, and share stories and photos of some of our favorite moments. We will also have treats and a hot cocoa bar! Please pre-register to let us know you are coming.
