Come enjoy the park after the sun goes down. All hikes begin at the Beach Center Meeting Room and finish near a bon fire with hot cocoa. Various actives included, based on monthly theme. Please monitor the weather as hike may be canceled if poor weather conditions, and dress for the outdoors. Check website for complete details. You must pre-register for the boater safety classes as class sizes are limited. Group enrollment is allowed and encouraged! The Winter Garden is full of wild beauty! Learn about how beneficial insects overwinter in the garden and go on a nature hike to look for signs of insect life. This hike starts indoors with a 45-minute presentation, while we enjoy a cup of custom blended wildflower tea, please come dressed to hike outdoors also. Appropriate for gardeners and nature enthusiasts. Presentation and Hike by Parks Naturalist Shawn Severance. In partnership with Project Grow. We'll meet in the Field Operations Building.
