    August 15, 2020, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

The Borgen Project is a non-profit organization that aims to fight global poverty through advocacy and mobilization efforts. This free/donation-based event will include information regarding volunteer and internship opportunities with our organization. Additionally, we will be going into a brief walk-through on the International Affairs Budget. We will then find our congressional representatives and their contact information, teaching attendees how easy it is to make a difference! There will also be a giveaway at the end of the event where we will be giving 2 $50 gift cards to The Detroit Street Filling Station in Kerrytown. Masks are required and social distancing will be in effect. All are welcome and encouraged to come get informed on global issues!
