North Hydro Park Trailhead
Located north of the Ford Lake Dam, this park provides an excellent balance of natural areas along the Huron River with more developed recreational amenities, such as: picnic areas, canoe/kayak launch, trails, and a fishing dock. The park is staffed and gated during the park season.
To access the Border to Border Trail (B2B), head north along Bridge Road and make the first left (west) on Grove Road. This will take patrons towards Loon Feather Point Park, Downtown Ypsilanti, Riverside Park, Depot Town, and Frog Island Park.
Heading south and east from North Hydro Park uses an on-road route. However; planning is in process to connect to Belleville and Lower Huron Metropark with the road-separated trail.
