Frog Island Park Trailhead
Frog Island Park is situated in the heart of Ypsilanti along the banks of the Huron River. Just north of historic Depot Town, where there are abundant local restaurants and businesses, this park offers shaded outdoor spaces, an amphitheater, and views of the Huron River. It also connects to Riverside Park via the "tridge", where there are open lawn areas, a gazebo, and is often the site for events during the summer. Further to the south side of Riverside Park is Downtown Ypsilanti and Michigan Ave, where there are many local businesses and public facilities, such as the district library. The trail continues southeast along Grove Road.
To the west of Frog Island Park, the trail connects to Eastern Michigan University, Washtenaw Community College, St. Joseph's Hospital, Parker Mill County Park, the Matthaei Botanical Gardens Trail, and to Gallup Park - another B2B Trailhead.
