[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Meeting

Wooded trail on sunny day

The Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission (WCPARC) is seeking public input for the remainder of the Border-to-Border (B2B) in the City of Ypsilanti and Ypsilanti Township.

The project area is between US 23 and the Washtenaw-Wayne county border at Rawsonville Road. Most of this section was planned, designated, and/or constructed in the early 2000s, but a few gaps in the trail still remain. This planning process seeks to find preferred alignments for the gaps, as well as identify opportunities for improvements to existing trail.

Two public meetings will be offered:

Tuesday, March 27, 2018
3:00pm – 8:00pm
SPARK East (215 W. Michigan Ave., Ypsilanti, MI 48197)

Thursday, March 29, 2018
2:00pm – 7:00pm
Ypsilanti District Library – Whittaker (5577 Whittaker Road, Ypsilanti, MI 48197)

The meetings will be exclusively in open house format (no formal presentation), with people able to arrive and depart at their leisure. Staff will be present for conversation.

All people are welcome. If you have any questions concerning this project, please contact Rosie Pahl Donaldson, Park Planner, at (734) 971-6337 ext.323 or via email at [email protected]

Washtenaw County will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 7-day notice to Washtenaw County.  Individuals requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the County of Washtenaw by writing or calling the following:  Human Resources, 734-994-2410, TTD# 734/994-1733.
