[ARCHIVED] State of Our Health event is happening 11/13!

SOOH

We are looking forward to our 2023 State of Our Health event #SOOH23 on Monday 11/13! Community members and local health professionals are invited to join this collaborative space to choose our priority health areas for the next 5 years. Registration for this event has closed, and it is full.

Our speakers include Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, Chief Medical Executive for the State of Michigan, and Jimena Loveluck, MSW, Washtenaw County Health Department Health Officer. Justin D. Hodge and Katie Scott, Washtenaw County Commissioners for Districts 5 and 9, respectively, and appointed members of the Washtenaw County Board of Health will provide closing remarks.

Here are the event details:

  • Date: Monday, November 13
  • Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Location: Morris Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College (4800 East Huron River Drive in Ann Arbor, MI 48105)

This event will include:

  • Insights from our latest Community Health Assessment (CHA): our team will present key findings and data from our most recent CHA.
  • Networking and community building: this event provides a space for you to connect with fellow community members and local partners. We believe cultivating these relationships is crucial in our collective effort to promote health in our communities.
  • Prioritizing future health initiatives: your input is invaluable. Together, we will take what we’ve learned in our CHA and decide on the key issues we want to build an action plan around. Please come ready to participate!
