WASHTENAW COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
PUBLIC NOTICE – SEEKING VOLUNTEER FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL COUNCIL
The Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners is looking for an individual to volunteer for one (1) position on the Washtenaw County Environmental Council. The Board of Commissioners will make this appointment at its upcoming session on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.

Those resumes received by Monday, June 26th, 2023, will be submitted to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration on July 5th. The appointment will become effective immediately. Appointment information below:
- Environmental Council– The Board of Commissioners is looking to fill one (1) position representing Community Groups. The vacant position has a partial term ending on December 31st, 2024. The Environmental Council's mission is to create a vibrant, sustainable, net-zero Washtenaw County through developing environmental policy and organizational recommendations for Washtenaw County government in order to achieve net-zero emissions for County operations by 2030; protect and improve the County's air, land, water, food network, and both mental and public health as related to the environment; and address and counter environmental and intergenerational injustice.
