The Environmental Excellence Partnership Program (E2P2) recognizes leaders in environmental protection. Annual awards are given for notable efforts in water quality protection, waste reduction and recycling, and pollution prevention.  Award winners have gone above and beyond to do what is best for the environment

Jeff Jackson is the owner of Happy Planet Running, a zero-waste running company. The mission of Happy Planet Running is to help races divert waste from ending up in the landfill. Jeff provides zero waste planning and event services throughout the region and is expanding throughout Michigan. This work is to promote sustainability, recycling and composting support to “run a good race, leave no trace.”
