As the pandemic continued through 2021, the Washtenaw County Office of Community and Economic Development (OCED) continued to address the needs of the community and ensure residents had access to emergency food and shelter, financial support for rental and utility assistance, and other essentials to fulfill its mission of driving long-term system changes to increase equity and opportunity county-wide. The OCED 2021 Annual Report, which details activities and initiatives from January through December 2021, highlights the department’s crisis response, programmatic highlights, community investments, and ongoing partnerships and collaborations throughout the year.
