[ARCHIVED] 2022 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

Crime Victim Vigil

This week is 2022 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.  This year’s theme—rights, access, equity, for all victims—underscores the importance of enforcing victims’ rights, expanding access to services, and ensuring equity and inclusion for all.  During this week we promote victims’ rights and honor crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf.

The Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office wants to uplift the amazing work of our Victim Advocates who provide exceptional services to victims. We thank them for their outstanding work.

On Wednesday April 27th, members of the Prosecutor’s Office attended the Candlelight Vigil held at the State Capitol in Lansing to honor crime victims. The Prosecutor’s Office stood with crime survivors and their families from Washtenaw County who spoke in honor and memory of their loved ones.
