Due to the ongoing winter weather and difficult travel conditions, all non-essential Washtenaw County buildings and services will remain closed on Friday, February 4th, and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, February 7th.

Due to winter storm warnings and snow accumulation, County buildings will be closed on Wednesday Febuary 2, 2022, and Thursday, February 3, 2022.

We will resume normal business hours on Friday, February 4, 2022.

Winter Storm Safely Tips

  • For safety, stay home if you are able.
  • Remember to shovel early and shovel often to reduce the need for additional salt and to avoid overexertion from shoveling heavy snow.
  • Walk carefully on snowy or icy sidewalks.
  • Bring your companion animals inside and be sure grazing animals have shelter and access to food and water.
  • Check on friends, relatives, and neighbors who are elderly or live alone.
  • Drink plenty of water and dress in layers.
  • For emergencies please call 9-1-1.
