[ARCHIVED] Public Notice: Appointments to WCCMH Board

Box 8645, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48107. Letters and resumes may also be submitted via email to or via fax (734) 222-6528.

Those resumes received by JANUARY 29, 2020 will be submitted to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration on February 17, 2021. The appointments will become effective April 1, 2021. These appointments include:


    Washtenaw County Community Mental Health Board – The Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill 4 positions from each of the following sectors: one Primary Consumer, one Secondary Consumer, and two General Public representatives, all for three-year terms expiring March 31, 2024.

    Note: of the 12 member CMH Board, 1/3 needs to be consumers (at least 2 primary consumers & 2 secondary consumers)

The Board will support the work of the Washtenaw County Community Mental Health (CMH) Agency and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance advice to the Agency’s Director and the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners. While day-to-day operations are led by the Washtenaw County CMH Agency’s Director, the Board and Director work collaboratively, and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected.
