The Washtenaw County Office Community and Economic Development (OCED) released a report detailing activities from January 2019 through August 2020. The report includes a summary of programs, initiatives, and community investments across the twenty month period.
“This report showcases our 2019 highlights, while also offering an update on our spring and summer COVID-19 response efforts,” said OCED Director Teresa Gillotti. “This combined look reminds us that challenges present before COVID-19, particularly the racial and geographic disparities in Washtenaw County, have only been exacerbated. We are committed to continuing our work with the community to address needs during the pandemic and improve existing systems moving forward.”
The full report can be found here on the OCED Website. Key stats from the report will be shared out from the OCED Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts over the coming week.
Washtenaw County OCED is a government agency committed to stepping out of traditional government roles to drive long-term system changes that increase equity and opportunity for all residents.
