ANN ARBOR, MI – Due to the recent announcement made by Washtenaw County Administrator Gregory Dill for the closure of all non-essential services and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ most recent order (Emergency Order under MCL 333.2253), the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center will be modifying their hours of operation starting Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The facility and holiday hours will be as follows through December 8:
The building will continue to operate to members only at 25% capacity. The indoor pool will also remain open at this time, with four swimming lanes.
Staff will continue to work closely with the Washtenaw County Health Department, and the Washtenaw County Administrator for guidance as the response and precautions taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 this holiday season evolve. “The unprecedented nature of this pandemic has required adaptability. Washtenaw County Parks is committed to keeping our community healthy and safe, and we will continue to follow the direction of our County Administration and the experts at the Health Department to guide our decision-making during this time.
