Learn about the rich history of the Parker grist mill at Parker Mill County Park. About the Parker Grist MillThe Parker grist mill is an operable mill built in 1873. Its equipment is original, left after the Parker family ceased milling operations in 1958. A visit to this historic treasure provides an opportunity to learn about an integral aspect of rural life in the early days of European settlement in Washtenaw County.
