Washtenaw County Community Mental Health is pleased to share a new website for information about the county’s eight-year Public Safety and Mental Health Preservation Millage, which will be in effect through 2026.

The millage site features:

  • the 24/7 hotline for accessing countywide mental health and substance use support services;

  • a history of the millage ballot initiative and the community engagement work that followed to inform millage investment priorities;

  • roughly three-dozen news stories about millage-funded programs, services, and initiatives;

  • an overview of the county-approved millage investment priorities for the first three years of the millage, and

  • an introduction to the Millage Advisory Committee, which oversees millage investments.

The site also includes detail about millage-funded accomplishments in four key areas:

  • Service expansion,

  • Criminal justice diversion,

  • Youth supports, and

  • Education and prevention.
