Family Nature Adventures: Insect Sweep Netting

A family nature program. Anyone ages 2 and up must register.
Come and search for the insets of summer, as well as their arachnid friends. We will examine and learn about the different types of insects, as well as the differences between insects and bugs. We’ll be handing out bug nets and sweeping the fields to find everything from grasshoppers to leafhoppers to praying mantis. This catch and release program is perfect for those who want to learn more about the world of insects. Led by Elle Bogle and Kelsey Dehring. Pre-registration is required - maximum 15 people.
