Three rain gardens – patches that get wet. But don't hold a lot of water anymore. Because it all soaks in. The soil is clay. Fits into the food web. Offers habitat for fireflies to find each other. For birds to come and eat the fruit. The blue lobelia bloomed and the humming birds showed up the next day. That is what amazing and special about Michigan. Molin Nature Area is a wetland in mid-restoration. 5 years in – it used to be all buckthorn. Help out our little Ann Arbor based community restoration work by giving us your used Wildtype Native Plant Nursery square pots and trays. So peer into your garage or shed, and give all those little pots a new life. The pots are size 2 inches, or 2 ½ inches.
