The cold clear air is perfectly complemented by a crisp, crackling fire. Join naturalist Elle Bogle for a winter day of campfire cooking. Learn how to properly identify and gather materials and build a cooking fire, then build your own. Take in the beauty of the winter landscape while enjoying a tasty meal you prepared with your new knowledge! Matches, grates, and cast iron pans will be provided but please bring your own food to prepare. All registrants will receive a list of sample menus in advance. Program fee is $5.00 per family/household, up to 5 members per family/household. Vehicle entry fee required. Only one person is needed to register, as the fee is per family/household.
