    Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Committee This committee is comprised of representatives from each agency within Washtenaw County that is a primary answering point for E-9-1-1 calls. This group has also joined forces, combining with the 800MHz Working Subcommittee. The joint committee does most of the technical problem solving, with technical and administrative support from the Enhanced 9-1-1 Coordinator (Emergency Services Director) and staff.

    The Home Toxics Reduction Program provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic and corrosive materials. Regular collection events are held the first three Saturdays of the month, April through November 9 a.m. to noon, except for holiday weekends. No appointment needed on Saturdays! If you can't make it to a Saturday collection, please call 734-222-3810 to schedule a weekday drop-off appointment. Please allow at least 48 business hours advance notice to schedule an appointment.

    The Washtenaw County Board of Public Works meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m., in Conference Room 2010 of the Washtenaw County Western Service Center, 705 N. Zeeb Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103, unless otherwise noted. Meetings are conducted in accordance with the Open Meetings Act (Act 267 of 1976, as amended).     Join us on this summer day to tackle the thistle that is throughout the rain garden. We will also be doing a park cleanup to make sure the playground and fields are looking their best. Learn how this rain garden stores and cleans water that lands on the grassy fields. If there is time, we will walk to Belize Park and work in the rain garden there as well. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring a water bottle and dress for the weather. We will provide tools, gloves, water and expertise.
