Washtenaw County Administrator Gregory Dill announced the closure of all non-essential services beginning Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The announcement is in compliance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’ most recent order (Emergency Order under MCL 333.2253) that includes a requirement for all workplaces with the ability to operate remotely, to be virtual. As a result, Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation offices will be closed to the public and accessible by appointment only. Staff are still available for these locations, please email [email protected] with any questions about the facility/operations, however they may be slower to respond. All county parks and preserves remain open for access to the trails. See our news article "Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission - Non-Essential Closure Guidelines" on our website for information about closures and reduced hours for some of our facilities. Please stay tuned and we will share any new updates as we receive them. If you have questions or concerns, please communicate with us through email at [email protected] or on social media.
