Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Closed - 3/16-4/12

On March 23, Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order (EO 2020-21), directing all Michigan businesses and operations to temporarily suspend in-person operations that are not necessary to sustain or protect life through April 13, 2020. In response Washtenaw County Administrator, Gregory Dill, announced that all non-essential county operations will be closed through April 13, 2020.

As a result, Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation offices including the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center will be closed to the public Monday, March 16 through Sunday, April 12. All county parks and preserves remain open for access to the trails. See our news article "Stay Home. Stay Safe.' Outdoor Guidelines" on our website for information regarding what “Stay Home. Stay Safe.” recreation looks like for Washtenaw County Parks. Please stay tuned and we will share any new updates as we receive them.
