The Washtenaw / Livingston Medical Control Authority was established in 1991 and is designated by the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
Our medical control authority is responsible for overseeing the emergency medical services in Washtenaw and Livingston Counties. This system includes two advanced life support agencies, 26 fire departments and one medical helicopter service.
