Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center - Summer Day Camp

General Information

Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center Day Camp is an annual program that began in the mid-1980's and is held each summer for seven weeks at the Recreation Center/County Farm Park The program includes arts and crafts, games, sports, swimming (3 days in pool and 1 day each at the Rolling Hills Water Park and Independence Lake), nature programs, and special events.

Register early as this is a very popular program. The camp is based out of the east gym of the recreation center, with many activities held at the pavilion located behind the center. Campers are broken up into three groups of twenty, based on age.

Eligibility for Program

  • Children who have completed Kindergarten through 11 years of age

* $10 discount for annual pass holders
Hours Rates
Camp: 9:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. $165 per week*
Pre-Care: 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
$15 per week
Post-Care: 4:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. $15 per week

How to Register

Registration will begin in person and online on March 1. Space is limited each week so register soon!

    1. Select "Day Camp" and then "Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center" to choose which weeks to register for
  2. Fax a registration form and payment information to the MLMRC at 734-971-2094
  3. Register in person at:
