Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center


Since the Meri Lou Murray Recreation Center opened in 1991, it has been a popular venue for recreation enthusiasts. The center has approximately 51,000 square feet of space dedicated to fitness and recreation. With close to 400,000 visitors annually, we strive to enhance quality of life by promoting healthy lifestyles through high quality facilities, programs, and services. We feature open spaces and lots of natural light to create a healthy environment where you can achieve your fitness goals.

We are not accepting walk-ins at this time. We are accepting new members. Sign up today at the front desk! 

Facility Hours (beginning July 6):

  • Monday – Friday: 6:00AM – 8:00PM
  • Saturday: 8:00AM – 6:00PM
  • Sunday: 9:00AM - 4:00PM

Lower Gym hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 6:00AM - 7:45PM
  • Saturday: 8:00AM - 5:45PM
  • Sunday: 9:00AM - 3:45PM

Pool hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 6:00AM - 1:00PM and 2:00PM - 7:45PM 
  • Saturday: 8:00AM - 5:45PM
  • Sunday: 9:00AM - 3:45PM 

Reservations must be made to use the pool for lap swim and to play badminton.

In addition, reservations are not required for the usage remainder of the facility .  We can safely accommodate the following:

  • Cardio Room - 25 patrons
  • Weight Room -15 patrons
  • Walking Track - 20 patrons
  • Lower gym - 25 patrons on East side/25 patrons on West side
  • Pool - 8 patrons

If you or any member of your party are ill, or have any symptoms related to the COVID-19 virus, do not come to the recreation center. All persons entering our facility should perform a self-health assessment before entering. If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath we ask that you do not enter.

Please take note of the following key changes, all of which have been put in place for the protection of members and staff at the facility:

  • Face masks are REQUIRED for individuals who have not been fully vaccinated.  Face masks are optional for patrons who are fully vaccinated.
  • Social distancing guidelines will limit the number of people entering the facility at one time
  • All members who have a monthly or yearly membership that have been issued a membership card are required to use this card to scan into the facility
  • The locker rooms will be open, with modifications
  • Showers may be used as long as proper distancing can be maintained
  • All restrooms will be sanitized daily and hand soap will be fully stocked
  • All members will have access to disinfectant and towels and must wipe down equipment before and after use
