We have a variety of volunteer opportunities for people interested in recycling, public service, working with people, and keeping the environment clean.
Due to safety regulations, volunteers for the Home Toxics Center and County Clean Up Days must be 18 years of age or older.
Home Toxics Center Volunteer
Home Toxics Center volunteers play a critical role helping our Seasonal Saturday Collection Events run efficiently and smoothly. Typically volunteers are needed to remove home toxics from residents' cars and place them on carts for later processing. Volunteer shift starts at 8:30 am and end around 12:00 pm. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants and complete a volunteer waiver. Snacks are provided.
County Clean-Up Day Volunteer
County Clean-Up Day volunteers may help direct traffic or work together to unload materials from resident cars. Snacks, drinks, and lunch are provided. You'll receive more information and a volunteer waiver prior to your volunteer day from the Clean-Up Day Event coordinator. Multiple shifts are available.
