Permit Transfer shall occur when ownership of a property has been changed. This frequently occurs after the sale of a property.
All permit fees must be paid by the existing permit holder before a transfer will occur.
A transfer inspection will occur before a transfer can be completed. All SESC control measures indicated on the site plan must be in place and the site must be in good condition before a transfer will be granted.
If the property is subject to a permit transfer, the original permit holder and the new permit holder must submit a completed Transfer Form Application.
Residential permits are valid for 18 months.
Permits may be granted 2 six-month extensions.
The SESC Program will notify all permit holders 30 days prior to permit expiration.
It is the responsibility of the permit holder to renew a permit prior to the expiration date. Failure to renew an active permit will result in enforcement with this office.
