We are no longer accepting applications for the Winter Internship Program. Please check back in January for information about the Summer 2024 Internship Program.
Interested students should email their resume and a brief cover letter to [email protected]. The cover letter should include a statement of interest as to why you are interested in working in the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office, as well as any specific areas (if known) in which you would like experience. Law students should include a writing sample in their application, as well.
The Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office Intern Program is open to law students, graduate students and college students. Interns become integral members of a team dedicated to equity and justice in Washtenaw County, and work alongside prosecutors and staff. Interns may choose to join us for a summer or a semester, and on a case-by-case basis may be invited to stay on longer. Hours are flexible. In general (with the exception of several year-long law student positions), internships are unpaid. We will, however, support interns in securing external funding resources and/or course credit. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.
Notice: If you are interested in interning with the Conviction Integrity and Expungement Unit, please submit application materials to [email protected]. Those interested in interning with the Economic Justice Unit should submit application materials to [email protected].
