In coordination with our community partners, the Prosecutor's Office is pleased to be co-hosting the following events where people can get started on clearing their old criminal records.
Warrant Resolution, Eviction Prevention, & Expungement Day (Ypsilanti)
On Tuesday, November 16, Washtenaw County residents will have an opportunity to obtain free expungement assistance—as well as obtain guidance on how to prevent eviction, and clear up misdemeanor warrants out of Ypsilanti Township’s 14B District Court. “Warrant resolution” means that if a warrant has been issued for your arrest, you can clear the warrant that day so you no longer have to fear arrest.
This event will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on November 16, 2021, at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse (100 Market Place, Ypsilanti, MI, 48198). Expungement-related services are free and are open to anyone with a Washtenaw County conviction.
This event is co-hosted by the Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice, Vineyard Church of Ann Arbor, the 14B District Court, the Public Defender’s Office, and the Prosecutor’s Office. For more information call the event hotline: (734) 645-3882.
If you are unable to attend, but would like assistance with an expungement, please contact Frances Walters, Director of the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office Conviction Integrity and Expungement Unit, at [email protected].
