Where to Get the COVID-19 Vaccine

It is getting easier and easier to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine! For the majority of these providers, you'll need to make an appointment for a vaccine. Anyone can call 211 to learn more about these options and get help requesting a COVID-19 vaccine.

Anyone 16+ Pre-register online or over the phone by contacting your local Meijer. You will be contacted when an appointment is available for you. Only complete registration one time and at one location. Additional entries will replace your previous registration and may increase your wait time.

Every Meijer in Michigan is also offering walk-in COVID-19 vaccines for customers on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment needed. Every Meijer store will have a minimum of 100 doses per week reserved for walk-ins.

Rite Aid*

Anyone 16+ (but prioritizing appointments for 18+) Complete an online form to see if there is a current vaccine appointment available. You are not added to a list. Sam's Club* 

Anyone 16+ Check their website for available appointments. You don't need to be a Sam's Club member to schedule (if you aren't a member, you'll need to create a guest account). Sam's Club vaccine page

Check for an available appointment on their website. If you don't have a Walgreens account, you'll need to make one (it's free). To schedule an appointment by phone, call your local pharmacy or 1-800-WALGREENS (1-800-925-4733). Help is available in English and Spanish. You can also check for appointments and schedule via the Walgreens App.

Sign up is available through these three options:

3. Call the MDHHS COVID-19 Hotline at 888-535-6136 (press 1). Calling is recommended only for people who cannot register online or by text. Call Monday-Friday from 8-5 and Saturday and Sunday 8-1.

Multiple sites in Lansing, Mason*

Mass clinics operated by the Ingham County Health Department. Clinic sites include the MSU Pavilion (Lansing), Dwight Rich School of the Arts (Lansing), and Ingham County Fairgrounds (Mason).

Michigan Medicine

Vaccination is offered at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor and Brighton Health Center. A Michigan Medicine medical record number (MRN) is required, and can be established by calling 734-936-4990. 

Appointments can be scheduled through the MyUofMHealth patient portal or by calling 734-763-6336. Limited walk-in hours for first-dose vaccinations only are also available at Michigan Stadium. Visit the Michigan Medicine website for current hours and availability.
