Drug Treatment Court Program Overview

The WCDTC is an 18-month program consisting of four phases, each designed to provide the treatment, supervision, and recovery support necessary to succeed in the program. 

The following is a brief overview of the program and phase requirement:

Phase I - approximately 90 days

  • Attend 7 recovery support meetings per week. 
  • Attend treatment court review hearings every other week.
  • Report to probation agent once per week.
  • Comply with all treatment recommendations.
  • Comply with random drug/alcohol testing, minimum twice per week.
  • Obtain a sponsor or mentor.
  • Comply with 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM curfew, except for school or work.
  • Seek full-time employment, schooling, or perform community service.
  • No sanctions for 30 days before advancing to the next phase.

Phase II - approximately 150 days

  • Attend 5 recovery support meetings per week.
  • Attend treatment court review hearings every other week.
  • Report to probation agent once per week.
  • Comply with all treatment recommendations.
  • Comply with random drug/alcohol testing, minimum twice per week.
  • Maintain a sponsor or mentor.
  • Comply with 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM curfew, except for school or work.
  • Maintain full-time employment, schooling, or perform community service.
  • No sanctions for 30 days before advancing to the next phase.

Phase III - approximately 150 days

  • Attend 3 recovery support meetings per week.
  • Attend monthly treatment court hearings.
  • Report to probation agent twice per month.
  • Comply with all treatment recommendations.
  • Comply with random drug/alcohol testing, minimum twice per week.
  • Maintain a sponsor or mentor.
  • Maintain full-time employment, schooling, or perform community service.
  • No sanctions for 30 days before advancing to the next phase.. 

Phase IV - approximately 150 days

  • Attend 3 recovery support meetings per week.
  • Attend monthly treatment court hearings.
  • Report to probation agent twice per month.
  • Comply with all treatment recommendations.
  • Comply with random drug/alcohol testing, as directed.
  • Maintain a sponsor or mentor.
  • Maintain full-time employment, schooling, or perform community service.
  • No sanctions for 60 days before graduation.
  • Minimum of 90 consecutive days clean before graduation.
  • Pay off all fines and costs before graduation.
