Additionally, Synod takes various steps to not disclose the identity of this individual when it could be a risk for them to apply for financial support, Synod requires:

A letter from a Social Service Agency, Shelter, Religious Organization or Advocacy Group attesting to the indigence of the individual and indicating the level of financial assistance needed the following require a statement from the potential recipient indicating the amount of financial assistance needed:
2. A document or card issued by any government program that is administering public benefits to the individual indicating that he/she is receiving needs-based assistance(i.e. Supplemental Security Income, TANF, Bridge Card or Medicaid card)
3. A document indicating that your child receives free school lunch
