Current Court Operations

Filings may be submitted to the court in the follow manner:

All service counters are open for in-person filing during normal business hours:  8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Effective January 3, 2023 - documents that require a filing or copy fee will no longer be accepted via email.  These filings may be submitted in person at the courthouse, via mail, or through MiFILE (if available for applicable case type).  Approved probate emergencies may still be submitted via email.

The court will continue to accept non-payment filings via email.  Emailed filings must be attached as separate PDF documents.  Filings must be complete and comply with Michigan Court Rule filing standards – any incomplete filings will be rejected.  Filings received after 4:30 pm will be considered filed the following business day.  Please do not send documents via e-mail and mail as this creates duplicate filings.
