Apply For Preservation of Your Land 

County Parks relies on willing landowners to nominate their own land for purchase for nature preserves or conservation easements (aka purchase of development rights).

If you would like to participate in the Natural Areas Preservation Program by selling your primarily undeveloped land or an easement on your land to County Parks, fill out the form linked below and submit it to County Parks via email, fax, mail, or feel free to drop it off at our office. County Parks staff are happy to sit down with you and discuss any questions you might have or just provide an overview of the process prior to applying.

We accept applications any time, though they are collectively reviewed annually in the autumn. County Parks staff will contact you upon receipt of the application. 

To be considered for the 2023 review, please submit your application form by Tuesday, August 15th, 2023 at 5pm.
