Community Service Officers (CSOs) work in a variety of roles in the Sheriff's Office, including most of the administrative duties of the Intake, Transfer, and Release of the jail. This position provides program intervention, supervision, placement, and other services to offenders based upon identified needs while communicating and coordinating with courts and/or other members of the criminal justice community. Current Contract Employment Opportunities
To better assist our community, this position will assess the needs of individuals under supervision with mild to moderate mental health related challenges. The Mental Health Specialist coordinates plans for community treatment and supervision of offenders while working with Community Mental Health to connect individuals with severe mental illness to their programs. Annual salary is $50,000.00.

Our court security staff provides security and maintains the integrity of the judicial process by ensuring a safe and secure environment in and around the court complexes of Washtenaw County. Hourly wages range from $18.04 - $20.00.
Our team of Drug Testing Agents collect, test, and maintain the integrity of samples provided by individuals court-ordered to undergo drug/alcohol screenings. Hourly wage is $16.00.
